Meijer is offering customers a $10 coupon off any purchase when they complete the vaccination process at a Meijer location.

The retailer is also offering a separate coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more for customers who previously completed their vaccines with any provider, including Meijer.

“We encourage everyone who is able to receive the vaccine to take this important step and get vaccinated,” Meijer President & CEO Rick Keyes said in a press release. “When the vaccine rollout began, our pharmacy teams dedicated themselves to keeping our communities safe. Their efforts have paid off, but we’re not done yet. We’re hopeful this incentive helps tip the balance.”

Those customers who already received their vaccine simply need to visit their local Meijer pharmacy with their completed vaccination card to receive their coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase.

To date, Meijer has administered more than 1.3 million doses. All eligible individuals, including those ages 12-17 with a parent or guardian, are encouraged to get their vaccine at their local Meijer pharmacy.

Meijer is also offering vaccines on a walk-up basis at all its pharmacies using the Pfizer vaccine. Every Meijer store will have a minimum of 100 doses per week for customers to get the vaccine at their convenience. Doses will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Meijer Aims To Provide 17000 Covid

This week, Meijer plans to conduct a round of more than 60 COVID-19 vaccine clinics at stores across Indiana.

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer said Monday that the clinics will administer up to 17,000 doses of coronavirus shots by the end of the week. In line with state guidelines, the free vaccinations will be provided to residents ages 65 years and older who have enrolled through the companys online COVID-19 vaccine registration website.

Due to high demand for immunizations, the clinic locations arent being released. Meijer said registered customers will be contacted directly with an appointment time and site once an appointment window becomes available. Besides using the online tool, customers can also register by texting COVID to 75049 or by asking to register at their local Meijer pharmacy.

Meijer is one of a host of partners in the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 Vaccination program launched earlier this month by the Biden administration.

Meijer Pharmacies Will Now Provide Covid

Meijer pharmacies will now provide the COVID-19 vaccine at every store.

The retailer plans to administer a total of 150,000 doses this week through clinics held at each of its stores, along with offsite clinics.

“Our stores and pharmacies continue playing an integral role in supporting their communities across the Midwest during this challenging time,” Meijer President & CEO Rick Keyes said. “Whether our team members and pharmacists are working with local organizations, coordinating offsite events or hosting large in-store clinics, we’re proud to continue our efforts as a federal retail pharmacy partner in the states of Wisconsin, Illinois and Kentucky as we expand access to these critical vaccines and defeat this pandemic.”

This week, Meijer will conduct more than 950 clinics, both large and small scale, in its stores throughout the Midwest.

To register for an appointment to receive the vaccine at Meijer, text COVID to the number 75049 to receive a link to register. Individuals can also go online to to register.

The link will include three brief questions that allow Meijer pharmacies to properly determine which vaccine phase the patient is in.

As COVID-19 vaccines are received, customers will be contacted with a date for their vaccine. They will also be able to decline the date offered, while staying in the registration group for a future date or opt out of the process if they change their mind or have already received the vaccine.

GREENFIELD, WI Retail chain Meijer announced Wednesday it is ready to begin giving second rounds of COVID-19 booster shots to people who are immunocompromised and over the age of 50.

The announcement comes after the FDA approved the distribution of a second booster shot of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to people 50 and up in March. The shots would be available for eligible people at least 4 months after a first booster dose.

Meijer said in the news release it will administer the vaccine at every one of its pharmacies across the U.S. to people who are older than 50 with certain immunocompromising conditions.

In Greenfield, a Meijer is located at 5800 West Layton Avenue. The company said people can obtain the shot regardless of where they recieved an initial vaccine series or booster.

To get a vaccine at Meijer, the company said visit clinic.meijer.com or walk into any one of their pharmacies.

People are also able to find COVID-19 vaccines or booster doses through Vaccines.gov.

The company says it has already administered 1.3 million doses in six Midwest states.

More than 7.8 million vaccine doses have been administered across all providers in Michigan and the percentage of residents 16 and up with at least one dose is around 57%.

Meijer Plans To Give 25k Covid

Meijer has revealed its goal to administer 25,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses by week’s end at its Michigan stores. The retailer is preparing to launch a series of vaccine clinics geared toward supplying the vaccine to Michiganders age 65 years and older who have pre-registered through its vaccine registration process.

“We are very proud of the role our stores and pharmacies continue to play in this massive effort to vaccinate people against COVID-19,” said Meijer President and CEO Rick Keyes. “As a pharmacy partner to both the state of Michigan and the federal government, we have been able to receive vaccines and quickly administer doses to thousands of people in our communities, usually within 72 hours.”

Meijer said last month that the state of Michigan chose the retailer as an initial pharmacy partner to administer vaccines at some of its stores in Wayne County under the Federal Retail Pharmacy Partnership Program.

Also, during the past few weeks, Meijer has conducted vaccine clinics in numerous other counties throughout the state, administering up to 1,200 vaccines in a single day at some stores. Since its first clinic on Jan. 15, the retailer has administered more than 20,000 doses in Michigan and more than 30,000 doses overall, primarily to seniors age 65 and older. This week’s aggressive vaccine schedule is possible through partnerships with several counties and cities in Michigan, along with doses received from the state of Michigan and the Centers for Disease Control .

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Meijer said Wednesday that shoppers receive the coupon, for $10 off any purchase, when theyre administered their final coronavirus shot at a Meijer pharmacy. Both the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna COVID vaccines require two shots, while the Johnson & Johnson vaccine involves just one injection.

In addition, the supercenter retailer is offering a separate coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more for customers who previously completed their vaccines with any provider, including Meijer.
